I took Adam to see Lion King this weekend. He really enjoyed it and actually stayed in his seat for the entire movie, which we haven't been so lucky with in the previous attempts.
There were lots of questions - was this the same movie we've seen at home, who's his mommy, where do they live, why did he leave, why his dad can't get up, how'd he grow up so fast, and on and on -- he was pretty excited
After Simba becomes friends with Timon and Pumba, and probably 20 minutes or so after Mufasa dies, Adam looks at me and says "now they can go back and help wake his dad up"
So we had to go back through what death is and relate it to Gus (#1 and #2) and how they are no longer with us. Not sure he understands that lost loved ones aren't coming back, but he can hold on to that innocence for a while :)
