And we wait....

We went to the doctor this morning. Everything looks good – blood pressure, iron, protein, etc all checked out. We heard the heartbeat, I think she said it was 138bpm. Jenny is still only dilated to 1 so they will not consider inducing until the cervix “ripens” a bit. Jenny’s feet have begun to swell a bit more, but not to a level that her Doctor is that concerned yet. So Jenny is going to try to work full-time next week so that she won’t have to eat into FMLA too much, should he decide to come late. The doctor said she wouldn’t let Jenny go more than a week over, and they will watch the size of the baby versus what the cervix is doing before she could commit to anything. And we wait…
