Initial ramblings...

Thought I'd be like some of my cool kid friends and get rolling on this fancy dancy blogging thing. I figure as we get closer to the arrival of the little one, this should be pretty good way to disseminate what is going on.

Jenny went to the doctor last Friday and they said the little guy is supposedly around 8lbs. All is well, this Wednesday will be 38 weeks. Jenny has been doing great - sore back and swollen feet but she's been a trooper. I am proud of her, awwww....

For those who didn't know, we are going with Adam Matthew. We are really excited that we are going to be able to honor one of my best buddies (didn't think Adam Kyle Gabe Michael Flenar would fly - sorry guys).

It is amazing to think that in a few weeks the thing in Jenny's belly that's been poking/rolling/punching/kicking for the past 9 months is going to come and hang out with us in a few short weeks (days?). We are just hoping for a healthy baby. Hopefully this little guy won't put us through what my folks had to go through - at birth or throughout the teenage years :)

We were talking last night that Jenny has been pregnant for just about all of the past 12 months. While it was very tough on both of us losing the first pregnancy, I think it makes it all the sweeter that Adam is on the way - and appears to be very healthy... The concern now is that if Jenny does go over, Adam might be able to walk out of the hospital with us at this rate and his size.
